The smallest lever espresso for travel
What are the dimensions of the smallest lever espresso machine, what do you think? I suppose the mini size of 9×18 cm you wouldn't guess. That's exactly how small the Flair GO is when folded. It's a novelty from the makers of Flair Espresso handheld espresso machines. It will go on pre-sale this autumn (2024) and then you can look forward to our e-shop among other Flair models.
Travelling with Flair Espresso coffee machines
Since 2016 , traveling coffee lovers have been enjoying their own espresso brewed on a Flair espresso machine. This first model is nicknamed Classic. It has undergone several improvements over the years. Today it has many little brothers - model lines like Flair PRO, Flair Neo Flex or Flair 58 with a true professional portafilter and electric preheating of the coffee head.
This year, the manufacturers introduce the Flair GO miniaturized lever coffee machine. This little thing is transported in a case that is 60% smaller than those with standard Flair coffee maker models. This makes it Flair' s most compact espresso machine.

Introducing the Flair GO mini coffee machine
The Flair Go handheld espresso machine has a lot of great features. First and foremost, it's compactness combined with durability and ease of use. The designers of the new Flair coffee machine focused first and foremost on its construction. They used 6061 aerospace aluminium as the main material. The hinges are fitted with friction locks and a locking pin. This folding coffee maker base will thus stay securely in place for the entire espresso brewing process, or until you fold it back up yourself.
Because a proper espresso needs 6-9 bar when brewing, the Flair Go has a pressure gauge that gives you an accurate reading of the pressure exerted. This will help you ensure 100% control over the parameters of your espresso. In fact, the measured value will also tell you if other variables of your coffee preparation need to be adjusted.
Another plus for more comfortable use of the Flair GO is the head of the coffee maker, which is made as a thin-walled cylinder of stainless steel. This was primarily to minimize heat loss during brewing and thus eliminate the need to preheat the coffee maker head.

Flair GO Grounds vs. Pod
The Flair GO folding mini coffee machine comes in two variants. It depends on which portafilter you want to use. For those who want freshly ground coffee at all times for espresso when brewing, the Flair GO Grounds will be the most suitable. Coffee drinkers desiring the convenience of faster coffee preparation using capsules (standard Nespresso capsules) will then choose the Flair GO Pod. Depending on the model chosen, the equipment varies as follows:
Flair GO Pod model
- Flair GO basic frame
- Thin-walled cylinder without preheating with silicone sleeve
- Portafilter for coffee capsules
- pressure gauge and coffee machine piston
- carrying case
Model Flair GO Grounds
- Flair GO base frame
- thin-walled cylinder without preheating with silicone sleeve
- Bottomless 2in1 portafilter
- pressure gauge and coffee machine piston
- carrying case
- stainless steel coffee tamper
- stainless steel dispersion strainer
- coffee dispensing funnel

Accessories for Flair GO coffee machine
As with other Flair Espresso models, you can complement the Flair GO with barista accessories from this brand. Of course, the coffee maker can be used this way on its own, only for refilling hot water and coffee. However, with Flair accessories, you can enhance your espresso or coffee drinks on the go. According to the manufacturers of Flair coffee makers, the recommended equipment includes the Royal Hand Grinder for those who choose the Flair GO Grounds model. Also barista scales or WDT. Also maybe a hand whisk milk frother for coffee with latte art and on the go.
