How to make warm whipped milk for Christmas coffee?

Warm whipped milk is simply a great accompaniment to winter coffees. If you don't own a coffee machine with a steam nozzle at home, these milk frothers and frothers make it easy.

Hot coffee with thick cream will warm you up to your toes. Take inspiration from our recipe for authentic Viennese coffee.

You will need:

  1. Double espresso
  2. Hot water
  3. Whipping cream

Procedure:

Prepare a tall serving glass. Prepare a tall serving cup and extend the espresso with about 30ml of hot water. Finally, cover the coffee with a large layer of freshly whipped and cooled cream. Finally, you can garnish with, for example, coffee beans. Definitely do not stir the Vienna coffee. Enjoy it through the delicious creamy layer.

Melange is likened to a café latte and a cappuccino, but for most, it's a blend of the two. This drink first appeared in the 18th century in Vienna. Outside of Vienna, the name " Wiener Melange " is often used for this drink .

Procedure:

The preparation of Melange is not at all difficult. First you need to froth 1 dcl of milk and brew a strong espresso. The best way is to make a doppio. Pour the whisked milk into a glass or cup. Now you can add the espresso. If you are making Melange in a glass, pour the espresso slowly over a spoon. This will give you 3 layers. Finally, top up the glass or cup with thick milk foam.

For the whipped coffee with cream you will need:

  1. Double espresso
  2. Christmas coffee syrup
  3. Milk
  4. Ice

Recipe for Christmas coffee syrup

You will need:

  1. 1 cup cane sugar
  2. Espresso doppio
  3. ¼ cup of good quality rum
  4. Real vanilla

Procedure:

Dissolve the cane sugar in the espresso doppio and top up with hot water if necessary. Add your favorite rum ( I find that Legendario adds more sweetness to the syrup) and sprinkle with real vanilla. Feel free to spice with cinnamon or cardamom for a more varied flavour.

Recipe for Christmas Dalgona coffee:

Add hot water, Christmas coffee syrup and double espresso to a bowl. Either whisk by hand or make the job easier with a milk frother. Whisk until the mixture is fluffy and light. It'll almost look like peanut butter. Finally, fill the glass with ice, pour in the milk and spoon in the whipped coffee mixture.

Coffee with rum in several ways

You will need:

  1. A cup of espresso
  2. Butter
  3. Good quality rum ( I recommend Demerara)
  4. Vanilla syrup
  5. Orange zest for garnish

Procedure:

The recipe is very simple. The firststep is to prepare the vanilla syrup. The first step is to first make the vanilla syrup. You can choose one of our syrup recipes. Then stir all the ingredients by hand or preferably with a milk frother until completely combined. Serve in a warmed glass and garnish with orange cordial.

Espresso tonic in a different way

This espresso tonic won't warm you up, but you'll love it with lime and rum. Source.

You will need:

  1. A good quality espresso
  2. 6 cl of good quality rum
  3. 4 cl simple syrup
  4. 2 cl lime juice
  5. 1 cl Angostura Bitters
  6. Tonic

Procedure:

Mix espresso, rum, simple syrup, lime juice and Bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice. Top up with tonic water to taste and garnish with lime.

For the caramel nut syrup you will need:

  1. 1 cup of cream
  2. ½ cup peanut butter
  3. 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey
  4. A tablespoon of vanilla flavoring

Procedure:

Stir cream, maple syrup and peanut butter together in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for about 3 minutes and add the vanilla extract at the end.

Recipe for Toffee Nuts Latte

You will need:

  1. Espresso
  2. Nuts syrup
  3. Milk
  4. Whipped cream
  5. Candied or pecans for garnish

Procedure:

Prepare a good quality espresso in a tall glass and dissolve the nut syrup in it. Whisk the milk to a creamy texture and pour into the espresso. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with pecans.

Recipe for Christmas coffee with cardamom

Cardamom is a spice extracted from the seeds of several species of plants native to India. Combined with coffee, it will delight you! Source.

Prepare this delicious, spicy coffee blend perfect for the holidays.

You will need:

  1. ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  2. ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  3. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  4. 1 tbsp brown sugar
  5. Espresso
  6. Hot water
  7. Milk

Procedure:

Mix all the spices together and pour into the prepared espresso. Pour the espresso and spices into a large cup and whisk in the milk. Pour the milk foam into the espresso up to ¾ cup and sprinkle with cinnamon and star anise to taste. Big gourmets can use a milk frother to froth the milk foam at the end. In this case, you must first sprinkle the milk foam with sugar and flambé until the sugar starts to caramelize.

Don't you want hot coffee? This drink goes cold too! Follow the instructions and pour the mixture into a jam jar with water. Leave in the fridge overnight and serve with milk and Christmas sprinkles on Christmas Eve.
