Our organically created Bergamot essential oil is cold-pressed from the fresh, vegetable peels of Citrus aurantium var. Bergamia fruit grown in orchards lining parts of the southern Italian coast.

Our delightfully fresh and uplifting bergamot oil has a refreshingsweet and balanced blend of citrus and green notes with light floral and bitter notes.

Bergamot oil not only offers a familiar scent or flavor, it also brings benefits. Although its roots can be traced back to Southeast Asia, Bergamot has been widely cultivated in southern Italy, specifically in the coastal regions of Reggio di Calabria and Sicily. In fact, Bergamot was named after the city of Bergamo in Lombardy, Italy.

Bergamot is one of the most commonly used essential oils in perfumery for its sweet freshness, where it adds a rich top note, especially in Eau de Cologne types that give an initial impression of "freshness".
