Coffee from the Chiapas region
This organic coffee from the Mexican region of Chiapas comes from small growers who are members of the FEDESI federation. The coffee is fully washed , which brings a sweet and clean taste with notes of pear , milk chocolate and hazelnuts . It is grown at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,700 m above sea level
The FEDESI federation unites over 2,990 growers from six cooperatives. Its goal is to help farmers get better prices for their coffee and expand access to new markets . Growers work on small farms of around 2.5 hectares in size and can improve the quality of their production with technical support and training.
Farmers carefully pick ripe cherries by hand, ferment them in cement tanks and then dry them on terraces . This process ensures high-quality coffee that retains its unique flavor characteristics.
Certified BIO coffee from Mexico
Mexico Fedesi coffee is certified as an BIO product , which means that it is grown in accordance with strict organic farming standards . Farmers use natural practices that protect the soil and the surrounding ecosystem, avoiding synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
Thanks to the BIO certification , you can be sure that this coffee is not only tasty, but also environmentally friendly . Each cup thus contributes to a sustainable future for small farmers in Mexico and for our planet.
