Coffee from the Cerrado region
The Daterra farm is located in Brazil, in the Cerrado region. Here it benefits from perfect growing conditions with a stable climate, dry winters and warm, humid summers.
Since 1976, Daterra has focused on high quality coffee, combining sustainability with advanced technology. Daterra is the first Rainforest Alliance certified farm in Brazil.
The coffee, called Summer Solstice, is made only from cherries that are dried directly on the trees. This exclusive technology produces only the tastiest and most flavourful beans that make this coffee so unique.
What will this cup of coffee taste like?
Sourced from the Cerrado region, Bourbon and Paraiso varieties boast fruity notes of strawberries and grapes, balanced by apple acidity. It has a pleasantly sweet honey aftertaste, offering a complex cup full of unique and balanced flavours.
This coffee is roasted using the omni roast method, making it suitable for both filter coffee and espresso. A neutral roast profile has been created that will give you a great taste, whatever your coffee preference.
Enjoy drip coffee from a dripper, drip coffee maker, French Press, AeroPress or Chemex. However, it will also taste great as espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, Moka pot or espresso machine.
