Our organically created camellia oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the flowering Camellia oleifera plant native to China. Prized for its nourishing and moisturizing properties, camellia oil has been used cosmetically for centuries.

About two-thirds of the fatty acid content of the oil is oleic acid, with a total monounsaturated fatty acid content approaching 85% - the oil has a similar composition to olive oil.

This compositional profile of fatty acids gives camellia oil its unique skin feel and rejuvenating properties. Rich in natural tocopherols and polyphenols, it is a highly regenerative and rapidly absorbed cold-pressed oil.
