Coffee from the Anserma region
Anserma is an association of over 2000 smallholders (with an average of 2.5 ha). Anserma is slightly livelier than Lucero, but with wonderful beans, and consistent quality. The coffee is processed by the wet method, fermented for a maximum of 14 hours and then dried on a paté for 5 to 10 days.
How will this coffee taste?
Coffees from Colombia are characterised by their full body, bright acidity and rich aftertaste. In Anserma's coffee you will find acidic fruity notes of citrus with a pleasant taste of chocolate and strawberries.
Recommended for espresso. The medium roast profile has been developed specifically for this coffee preparation method. In addition to using it to make espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, you can also enjoy coffee from a Moka pot or a Jazzeria.

Why coffee is bitter and how to influence the bitterness in coffee
When is bitterness in coffee bad and what actually makes coffee taste bitter? Where does the bitterness in coffee come from? Can we influence how bitter our cup of coffee is and how do we do it? So many questions about bitter coffee and here are the answers.
Espresso and its crema
Brown foam spread over the surface of the espresso. The first look into the cup, you see it. Sometimes lighter, sometimes darker or "tiger". Is this crema really the sign of a good espresso or is it just a waste product? Coffee drinkers' views on the importance or the actual function of crema in espresso change over time and with experience and research, and would quite certainly cause a great deal of debate on the subject. We now offer you our take on crema.
One of the myths about coffee is the claim that strong crema means great espresso. It is true that the sight of a coffee with a smooth crema can make you feel that the liquid hiding underneath will be delicious. After all, it is true of coffee that we eat, that is, we drink with our eyes. This, by the way, is why baristas create images in milk drinks, so-called latte art. Crema on espresso looks smooth, or rather "creamy", and people just like creamy things.
Coffee drinks with alcohol that are guaranteed to warm you up
Falling temperatures outside motivate a good cup of hot coffee. For an even more effective warming effect and a feeling of well-being on a winter evening, it's a good idea to add a little alcohol to your coffee to help your body heat up even more.
What is the right pressure for making espresso
Does a 19 bar machine really make better espresso? What does it mean when a coffee machine has 15 bar or more and why is water pressure for coffee important at all? Let's get to the bottom of this.
