Coffee from Finca La Guaria
Coffee Nace Caturra Natural coffee comes from Finca La Guaria, a family farm owned by Eduardo Navarro and his family. The farm is located in San José, in the province of Los Santos, Costa Rica. The coffee trees are grown on 12 hectares of land and the total production of the farm is approximately 1 000 bags per year.
The Navarro Valverde family, headed by 95-year-old Apolonio Navarro, specialises in several varieties of coffee, which they process using different methods. The coffee is hand-picked and carefully sorted in a Coffee Nace micro-mill, where it is sun-dried and then tumble-dried to achieve even drying.
The coffee from the San José region is processed using the natural method. The Caturra variety is a natural mutation of the Bourbon variety and is grown at an altitude of 1400 metres above sea level.

What will this cup of coffee taste like?
Thanks to its ideal climatic conditions and meticulous care, Costa Rica is one of the most advanced coffee producers in Central America. Coffee is grown in eight main regions, including well-known areas such as Tarrazú and Valle Central.
This exceptional coffee from the Finca La Guaria farm will enchant you with its rich flavour of dark and milk chocolate, complemented by fresh notes of tangerine and the subtle sweetness of brown sugar. It creates a harmonious and balanced flavour profile that will delight both chocolate and fruity-sweet lovers.
Recommended for espresso. The medium roast profile has been created specifically for this method of coffee preparation. In addition to using it for espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, you can also enjoy coffee from a Moka pot or a jazzeria.
