LIMITED EDITION. A unique variety of loose leaf tea with a high proportion of leaves from gardens in the Rathnapura area.

Origin: Sri Lanka, Sabaragamuwa Province, Rathnapura
The Rathnapura area is located in the south of the island. The sunny plantations lie at a low altitude of up to 600 metres.

100% Sri Lankan origin
The Ceylon Tea Symbol of Quality (Lion symbol) guarantees 100% Sri Lankan origin and packaging in the country of origin. It is a certification of the Sri Lanka Tea Chamber.

Harvesting altitude: up to 600 meters above sea level (Low Grown)
Low Grown tea gardens at altitudes up to 600 meters above sea level are exposed to more intense and longer sunlight, the climate is dry and warm. The lowland infusions are therefore darker to ruby red in colour, stronger and more woody in flavour.

Harvesting period: May 2021
Ceylon tea is harvested all year round, however, it is harvested during the quality season when the tea plant thrives exceptionally well due to the perfect climate and the estates produce their best teas. The seasonal tea season is associated with the monsoons that hit the southeast of the island in January and February, where the Low Grown gardens are located. The central province with its High Grown gardens has its quality season between June and September.

Preparation: 1 teaspoon per 2.5dcl, 100°C, 3 - 5 minutes
