Coffee from Sidama, Arbegona
Sidama Boreta is a high quality Ethiopian coffee that comes from the Sidama region, specifically the Arbegona area. This coffee is processed using the natural method in the Boreta washing station owned by Asefa Dukamo.
The Sidama region is an ideal place for growing coffee due to its fertile soil and high altitude. Daye Bensa is committed not only to processing and exporting quality coffee here, but also to supporting local communities through infrastructure and education projects.
The harvest begins with the careful hand-picking of ripe cherries, which are then sorted according to quality in water tanks. After sorting, the cherries are dried on raised beds where they are rotated regularly to ensure even drying. This process takes 12 to 15 days, after which the coffee is peeled and prepared for export.

How will this cup of coffee taste?
JARC Selection 74158, from the Sidama region, boasts fruity notes of pineapple and strawberries, balanced by an intense cocoa aftertaste. It has a sweet creamy body and offers a complex cup full of unique and balanced flavours.
This coffee is roasted using the omni roast method, making it suitable for both filter coffee and espresso. A neutral roast profile has been created that will give you a great flavour, whatever coffee preparation you're into.
Enjoy drip coffee from a dripper, drip coffee maker, French Press, AeroPress or Chemex. However, it will also taste great as espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, Moka pot or espresso machine.
