Premium coffee from Gesha Village Narsha
This quality coffee bean comes from the Gesha Village farm, specifically from the smallest farm block of Narsha in Ethiopia. At an altitude of 1963-1977 m above sea level, the conditions are perfect for growing this exceptional coffee of the highest quality .
Gesha Village Farm, which is divided into 8 zones , is run and owned by Adam Overton , Rachel Samuel and Willem Boot . This variety originates from the nearby (20 km away) Gori Gesha forest, which was identified through genetic testing as the collection site for the famous 1931 expedition that resulted in the now much celebrated Panamanian gesha variety.
The premium variety Gesha 1931 provides a juicy and complex cup like no other coffee and offers a unique and luxurious coffee experience. It is grown with respect to sustainability , the environment and with dedication and fairness to all employees.
How will this cup of coffee taste?
Ethiopian Geisha is one of the most luxurious coffees in the world , and its cultivation techniques are constantly being improved. This particular Narsha is processed with the Honey method, which means that the beans are sun-dried with some of the sticky pulp, making for a unique and complex sweet cup.
This premium coffee from Gesha Village features balanced acidity and fruity notes of blueberries , sour cherries , dried mango and yellow fruit. All this is complemented by the distinct aftertaste of orange peel .
We recommend for the preparation of filtered coffee . The fine roasting profile was created precisely for this method of coffee preparation. In addition to using it for classic drip coffee from a dripper or drip coffee maker, you can also enjoy coffee from a French Press , AeroPress or Chemex .
