Premium coffee from Gesha Village Surma
This quality coffee bean comes from the Gesha Village farm, specifically from the Surma farm block in Ethiopia. At an altitude of 1909-2063 m above sea level, the conditions are perfect for growing this luxurious coffee of the highest quality .
Gesha Village Farm, which is divided into 8 zones , is run and owned by Adam Overton , Rachel Samuel and Willem Boot . This variety originates from the nearby (20 km away) Gori Gesha forest, which was identified through genetic testing as the collection site for the famous 1931 expedition that resulted in the now much celebrated Panamanian gesha variety.
The premium variety Gesha 1931 provides a juicy and complex cup like no other coffee and offers a unique and luxurious coffee experience. It is grown with respect to sustainability , the environment and with dedication and fairness to all employees.
How will this cup of coffee taste?
Ethiopian Geisha is one of the most luxurious coffees in the world , and its cultivation techniques are constantly being improved. Its floral fragrance will completely enchant you. It is most often reminiscent of jasmine and lilac , and these notes are often reflected in the taste profile of the award-winning Geishi.
This natural premium coffee from Gesha Village is characterized by balanced acidity and fruity notes of purple grape , raspberry , pomegranate and strawberry . All this is complemented by the pleasant floral touch of lilac and the scent of jasmine , which is so typical for Geisha.
We recommend for the preparation of filtered coffee . The fine roasting profile was created precisely for this method of coffee preparation. In addition to using it for classic drip coffee from a dripper or drip coffee maker, you can also enjoy coffee from a French Press , AeroPress or Chemex .
