Coffee from the Guji Uraga region

Iron Lion comes from the Guji Uraga region of Ethiopia, which is known for its high altitude. This naturally processed coffee offers notes of strawberry, orange and cocoa beans. The coffee grows at an altitude of 2000-2180 m above sea level and is made up of the varieties 74158, 74110 and 75112.

This blend combines batches from several washing stations, ensuring a stable profile with distinct fruit and cocoa notes year after year. The coffee is dried on African beds for 14-18 days, contributing to its full and rich flavor.

The producer behind this coffee is Daye Bensa, who focuses on sustainable farming and precision coffee processing. Together with community farmers, he ensures that each batch meets high quality standards. As a result, this coffee stands out with a consistent flavor profile and delivers an authentic Ethiopian natural coffee experience.

What will this cup of coffee taste like?

Ethiopian coffees are known for their complex flavors with distinct fruity and floral notes, often grown at high altitudes, giving them a fresh acidity and rich flavor. This coffee from Guji Uraga offers notes of strawberry, orange and cocoa bean, with intense fruity flavours and a subtle chocolate aftertaste thanks to its natural processing.

Recommended for espresso. The medium roast profile has been developed for this method of coffee preparation. In addition to using it for espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, you can also enjoy your coffee from a Moka pot or a coffee pot.
