Ibutiti Estate AA: coffee from one farm
Ibutiti Estate coffee comes from a single farm. It is grown at an altitude of 1750-1800 m above sea level on fertile volcanic soil and is processed using the fully washed method. It offers notes of red currant and rhubarb with bright, fruity acidity.
Precision harvesting and processing
During the main harvest, up to 400 local workers work on the farm, carefully hand-picking only the ripest cherries. After fermentation and washing, the coffee is dried on raised tables , which preserves its exceptional flavor profile.
Tradition and community
The farm, run by Mercy Wambui Gatuhi , is not just about coffee – part of the profits go to support children's education and helping the elderly. The coffee from Ibutiti Estate is not only of high quality , but also has a strong story.

AA grade premium coffee
AA grade means you get the best of Kenyan coffee in your cup – large, perfectly ripe beans that deliver full body , rich flavour and a distinctive fruity acidity. The careful selection of AA beans (with a sieve size of 17 or 18) ensures the consistency and exceptional quality that has made Ibutiti Estate coffee a favourite with fine coffee lovers around the world.

Complex taste with notes of red currant and rhubarb
Kenyan coffees are among the most sought after in the world due to their strong acidity , rich body and complex fruit notes . You will often find blackcurrant, citrus, tropical fruit or rhubarb notes in them, which combine with a subtle sweetness.
Ibutiti Estate is a perfect example of this. Its notes of red currant, combined with a light freshness of rhubarb, create a harmonious combination that refreshes and invigorates. Every sip is like an awakening of the senses - fresh, fruity and completely unforgettable.
Perfect for a filter
We recommend it for filter coffee preparation . The fine roast profile was created specifically for this coffee preparation method. In addition to using it for classic drip coffee from a dripper or drip coffee maker, you can also enjoy coffee from a French Press, AeroPress or Chemex .
