What's underneath the retro look of the narrow brushed stainless steel body? Although two separate boilers don't really fit in the Lelit Mara lever coffee machine, you won't lose their advantages. The boiler with heat exchanger is designed to technologically create similar conditions as with a dual boiler.

The principle behind this unexpected capability in a small home coffee maker lies in the pressostat with a switch. Depending on your discretion and needs, you can choose whether to prioritise the reheating temperature of the coffee machine for steam or for coffee. A second knob toggles between three positions defining the water/steam temperature.

When the priority is steam, you choose between these levels:

  • 0 = 120 °C (1 bar)
  • I = 123 °C (1.2 bar)
  • II = 126 °C (1.5 bar)

When coffee is the priority, you choose between the following levels:

  • 0 = 91-92 °C
  • I = 93-94 °C
  • II = 95-96 °C
