Finca La Cabra is a joint venture between Willem Boot and his wife Catherine Cadloni and John and Lynelle Lawrence, who own the Mudhouse coffee roaster in Virginia. The head of the farm is Kelly Hartmann , whose family owns the Finca Hartmann coffee farm in Panama and who is involved in leading various award-winning coffee growing projects in that country.
