Exceptional coffee from Nicaragua from the Jinotega region

Caring for nature and community

The coffee is harvested by hand on this farm, ensuring only the ripest cherries are selected for maximum quality. Up to 180 seasonal workers work during the harvest, providing a livelihood for the farm thanks to locally grown crops. After harvesting, the coffee is processed in a natural way , which gives it a full body and unique flavor notes .

Nicaraguan coffee is a matter of the heart, combining tradition, sustainability and quality . Finca Los Altiplanos is a successful example of how to combine nature conservation with the production of top-notch coffee - from sustainable farming to the perfect cup you'll love.

Taste of red apple, grapefruit and cardamom

Nicaraguan coffees are known for their balanced flavor , subtle sweetness, and fruit and spice notes that reflect the diversity of the regions and the country's natural resources. In this particular coffee, you'll find juicy flavors of red apple and grapefruit , complemented by a cardamom aftertaste.

We recommend it for preparing espresso , from which you can also conjure up the perfect cappuccino or latte . The medium roast profile was created specifically for these coffee preparation methods. In addition to using it for espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, you can also enjoy coffee from a Moka pot or a cezve .
