Compact design
At first glance, you'll recognize that the Timemore Slim grinder is both handsome and compact. The construction has been cast in aluminium alloy, which adds an unmistakable originality. This makes the entire construction of the grinder very strong and durable. The grinding stones are an important component, which, even with a fine grind, present a well-ground coffee. At the end of the handle, there is a wooden holder that helps on the design, but is mainly there for a good grip when grinding coffee.
Made for quality
The grind settings on the Timemore Slim can be varied. It's great for Aeropress, but it can also be used for Chemex and coffee prepared in a French Press. Espresso preparation can also go its way, as the resulting grind consistency is really good. The grind adjustment is located at the bottom where the scale is created. You can thus use the number of clicks to memorize the coarseness setting and thus go back in the settings between different methods for coffee preparation.

Great comparison of the best hand grinders: the Comandante vs. Timemore
Among the manual coffee grinders, those with the Comandante brand were the absolute top of the range. In addition to these barista-praised grinders, the pieces with the Timemore name boast the highest quality. How to choose between them?

How to choose a manual coffee grinder
You can choose the best coffee and coffee machine, but without a good grinder, it's hard to make great coffee. Hand grinders are practical and affordable. If you want to make coffee both at home and at the cottage, on holiday or wherever you are, a manual grinder is exactly what you need.

Comparison of Timemore hand grinders
It almost seemed that there was nothing to improve on the hand coffee grinder. But then Timemore came along and made all coffee lovers happy with their new products and other coffee accessory manufacturers deep wrinkles on their foreheads. With what?

Espresso and its crema
Brown foam spread over the surface of the espresso. The first look into the cup, you see it. Sometimes lighter, sometimes darker or "tiger". Is this crema really the sign of a good espresso or is it just a waste product? Coffee drinkers' views on the importance or the actual function of crema in espresso change over time and with experience and research, and would quite certainly cause a great deal of debate on the subject. We now offer you our take on crema.
One of the myths about coffee is the claim that strong crema means great espresso. It is true that the sight of a coffee with a smooth crema can make you feel that the liquid hiding underneath will be delicious. After all, it is true of coffee that we eat, that is, we drink with our eyes. This, by the way, is why baristas create images in milk drinks, so-called latte art. Crema on espresso looks smooth, or rather "creamy", and people just like creamy things.

Why (not) buy a lever coffee machine with a built-in grinder
Instead of having two essential devices for making good espresso, you can have one. Complete, all in one body. Is that right? What are the advantages of this combination, or is it better to buy a separate coffee machine and grinder separately?
