Simple cold brew preparation for many coffee drinkers

It's not exactly easy to brew large quantities of filter coffee. A Toddy coffee maker of this size simplifies the process for many people. This oversized filtration system is designed to brew up to 10 litres of cold brew at a time. It also features a clever gadget, which is a plastic washer inside the system.

A delicious, filtered and perfectly clean cup of coffee

Filtration takes place thanks to disposable paper filters. These filters are mounted on a small, lift-up plastic base, which allows for more efficient extraction and saves hard-working baristas. This eliminates the need to squeeze out the last of the concentrate after dripping.

What does the package contain?

The TODDY Commercial Cold Brewing System consists of a bucket, lid, spout and plastic base. Please note that this unit does not come with filters or strainers.

The Toddy maceration system is designed to produce approximately 10 litres of extract from 2.27 kg of coffee at a time

  1. Insert one Commercial filter inside the filter container.
  2. Place 2.27 kg of ground coffee in the filter.
  3. Pour approximately 6.6 litres of cold water into the open filter, making sure to soak all of the coffee.
  4. Tie the filter bag with the string provided. The string should be tied approximately 3 inches from the top of the filter bag. Leave plenty of room for the coffee to move around. (Tying the bag too tightly will cause dry spots in the coffee grounds and make the coffee concentrate weak).
  5. Add an additional 6.6 litres of cold water to the container.
  6. Cover with a lid and leave to infuse for 8-16 hours.
  7. Pour the extract into a suitable storage container and refrigerate. The yield should be approximately 10 litres of drink.
