What is white tea and how is it different from other types of tea?

White tea is a finely processed tea with minimal oxidation that comes from young tea leaves and buds. Unlike green or black tea, it is less processed, which gives it a lighter flavor and more delicate aroma. White tea is prized for its pure and delicate flavour, which is often sweet and floral.

What types of white tea do we offer?

On our e-shop you will find white tea in a variety of packages, both smaller 70g packs for trying out and larger 1kg packs for regular consumers. The teas are sourced from quality plantations in Vietnam where they are grown with respect to traditional processing methods.

How to prepare white tea?

White tea is best prepared with water at around 70-80°C to preserve its delicate flavour and aroma. We recommend using about 1 teaspoon per 250 ml of water and letting it infuse for 3-5 minutes. Too long a steeping time can cause bitterness, so it is important to keep the correct time.
