E&B steel grinding stones with S2C function

As always with Timemore products, the beauty of simplicity and spectacular design are unrivalled. The same goes for the materials used. Also with the Chestnut ESP, the body of the grinder is made from a single piece of lightweight but strong aluminium.

Inside, the metal axis of the grinder and the steel grinding stones are mounted on 2 bearings. These are specifically ground based on an innovative grinding method by the designers at Timemore. They call them "S2C" - "spike to cut". The patented S2C grinding stones are even 42 mm long!

Their unique design works as a double grind in practice. The sharp edges on the top of the stones break the beans, and the sharp grinding teeth of the stones grind the coffee more precisely. At the same time, they are shaped like E&B stones (espresso and brew) for great results in universal use for both espresso and filter.
