Our Barista No.1 blend combines two select coffees that complement each other beautifully and create a harmonious, balanced flavor profile.

From the hills of Minas Gerais , Brazil, Sancoffee brings fullness, subtle sweetness and characteristic notes of milk chocolate and nougat . In contrast, Ethiopian Iron Lion from the high mountain region of Guji Uraga adds juiciness, vibrant strawberry aromas and a light fruity freshness to the blend.

Brazil Sancoffee – sweetness and soft nougat

Sancoffee is the result of the work of a cooperative of farmers from Santo Antônio do Amparo, who have a long-term focus on quality and sustainability . Thanks to natural processing and careful selection of beans, a coffee with a full body, a delicate chocolate sweetness and a balanced profile is created.

Ethiopia Iron Lion – strawberry freshness from Guji Uraga

Iron Lion comes from the high mountain region of Guji Uraga, where coffee grows at an altitude of over 2000 m above sea level. Natural processing and drying on African beds for 14-18 days highlight strawberry notes, a light sweetness of fruit and on the aftertaste. Producer Daye Bensa works with community farmers and ensures high consistency and quality of each batch.

Flavor profile – milk chocolate, strawberry and nougat

Combining Brazil's Sancoffee (70%) and Ethiopia's Iron Lion (30%) creates a blend that carries the sweet and chocolatey traits of Brazil with the fresh, fruity accents of Ethiopia. The result is a balanced cup with notes of milk chocolate , strawberry and nougat — a taste that evokes the atmosphere of your favorite espresso bar or café.

We recommend it for preparing espresso , from which you can also conjure up the perfect cappuccino or latte . The medium roast profile was created specifically for these coffee preparation methods. In addition to using it for espresso from a lever or automatic coffee machine, you can also enjoy coffee from a Moka pot or a cezve .
